A note on subscriptions
On iPhone, the $79 shop plan and each $15.99 additional seat are separate auto-renewing Apple in-app subscriptions. Pausing or replacing a barber does not cancel their seat subscription. On Android, subscriptions use Google Play billing. Manage cancellations through the store where you subscribed. Paid additional seats require an active shop plan or its initial 7-day shop trial; extra seats are not included free in that trial.
The iPhone app is currently in private beta; public subscription availability is pending launch. This calculator is an estimate, not a checkout.

Deposit reports cover amounts recorded in ChairHold before processing fees. They exclude tips, balances paid at the appointment, and adjustments handled directly in Stripe. They are not payroll or confirmation of a bank payout.

What does my shop pay each month?
$79 USD/month includes the owner’s chair. Each additional barber is $15.99 USD/month. The owner and two additional barbers total $110.98/month, before taxes and separate Stripe processing fees.
Does every barber need their own Stripe account?
Only if you choose individual deposit routing. If the owner collects all deposits, use the owner’s verified Stripe account and settle barber shares outside ChairHold. Individual routing requires every barber to complete Stripe verification.
Does pausing a barber stop the subscription?
No. Pausing stops new bookings for that profile, but the monthly seat subscription continues until cancelled through the store where you subscribed: Apple on iPhone or Google Play on Android. You can replace a paused barber and reuse their seat. Existing paid appointments remain in your records.
Do my clients need an app or an account?
No. They open your booking link, choose services, a barber, and a time, accept the shop’s policy, and pay the appointment deposit in their browser.
What happens if a client cancels or does not show?
Your disclosed cancellation and no-show policy governs how you handle the deposit. Clients must accept it before paying. You can manage appointments and issue refunds from ChairHold.
Can I download ChairHold today?
The iPhone app is in private beta. Public App Store availability is coming later. Request beta access or try the live booking demo, which never charges a card.
